SERVING OTHERS IN EUROPE
Thanks to your help, we are able to carry out many projects accross Europe.
From helping refugees in Greece, to establishing a prayer-for-Muslims network in Belgium, organising summer camps in Romania and Croatia... and much more!
See below our active projects. Small seeds can bring much fruit...
ECM missionaries in Spain are planning to open the "Casa Camino Antiguo" (“Ancient Way”) Guesthouse in Las Encartaciones, Basque Country, Spain. A place to stay for pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago and share the gospel with them, to offer activities for the local community and a meeting place for their local church, planted in 2019. They are praying for €400,000 to purchase and renovate a property. Watch their video here.
Our presence and involvement in the music scene in Berlin continues to be a vital part of our ministry here. As well as nurturing a new community, over the last few years Ali has been busy setting music to the Psalms. Now we are ready to record and launch the project!
Would you like to financially support this project? Here is a little snapshot of our first rehearsals to give you a little taste.
The church at Varazdin in Croatia is very active in evangelism and church planting. This summer, like every year, the church is planning on holding an evangelistic event in the town.
“Pokreni se” (“Let's Go!”) is a three day evangelistic campaign/festival that takes place in Varaždin with a package of evangelistic cultural events. Can you help the church in Varazdin carry out this ambitious and visionary event?
The Good Samaritan Association has a therapeutic centre serving in Spain since 1993. Until recently, the focus of the project was the rehabilitation of addicts. Now, they are looking to repurpose it for other causes, but they need to repair the greenhouse that allows them to finance their costs.
They need €6450 to repair the greenhouse and improve the production system. Can you help them? "Help us to continue helping others."
Currently there is a need to reach the masculine heart in Spain like never before, and we are seeing that God is beginning to wake leaders in the church up to this need. There are few resources for men in Castillian Spanish, and even fewer ministries and retreats for them. The vision is to reach men’s hearts in Spain through providing resources, training and retreats for men, using the materials and approach of Wild at Heart, contextualised for Spain.
Novi Marof is a town of 13,000 people in northern Croatia. The Emanuel Baptist Church of Varaždin (16 km away) is planting a church there. They have already evangelised there and they have some converts.
The Varaždin church will be renting a hall at Novi Marof for services and evangelistic activities, and are looking for others who will want to contribute to this new church plant.
One of the needs ECM workers in Romania identified was the need for theological and Bible study materials in Romanian language for pastors and seminary students. They have since worked to meet that need and so this 10-year project was born, to make the whole 20 volume NT commentary series available in Romanian.
This worthy project now needs €4300 ($5000 USD) to expand capacity by engaging an extra translator and desktop publisher designer. Let's help this excellent initiative advance to completion.
The Good Samaritan Association is providing support for 3 refugee families from Venezuela, 6 adults and 7 children. During the first few months they will be staying at the Good Samaritan Centre whilst their residency is applied for.
This project goes towards covering the costs for the time at the centre and the transition to housing in the local area. Support is needed for housing, food, and basic needs until they can be financially stable. Would you like to partner with us as we help them in this process?
Two ECM missionaries, together with a Brazilian pastor, have written a book to encourage a new generation of church leaders to work together with their brethren across denominational barriers.
The book is already available in Portuguese, and the desire is to translate and edit the book into English. This will cost about €2,500, with the aim to publish the book in Spring 2023.
The Patchwork Centre is an evangelistic community center with café, workshop, second hand, music, etc, located in one of the most atheist regions in the world: East-Germany. One of our goals is to offer our ministry to interns who take their first steps in the missions field, and we are in need of additional funding for their housing situation.
We're praying for €500/month during one year, a total of €6000, to rent a 3-room apartment big enough to host up to 4 people.
By giving to Accelerating Church Planting you can help ECM develop National Church Planting Platforms and accelerate the multiplication of new churches. The long-term impact will be a substantial increase in the number of disciples and Churches all across Europe.
The total we hope to raise through ECM is: €10,000 each year.
Since the pandemic, educational institutions in Greece now have to offer remote learning, making all students and faculty totally reliant on internet access. The problem for the Greek Bible College in Pikermi, a respected and renowned Christian College, is that the infrastructure in place is very old and badly designed, and they need help to set up their network.
Would you join with us to raise the €5,450 still needed to connect students and faculty in this institution?
This project is an annual event in collaboration with a Christian ministry from Northern Ireland. Coaching for Christ provides us with professional football coaches who use their training to reach young people with the gospel through Christian football camps.
We are looking for €2,000 to be able to hold this project. Are you able to help us raise this?
The Baptist church of Dugo Selo, Croatia, is the first evangelical church in the city of 25,000 inhabitants. It was planted in 2014. Even though it is small, this church has a great influence in the community, we are doing evangelistic activities in the region, and the city is soon accepting us.
We need your help to pay the rent for the next 3 years. In the first year we need €200/month, the second year €130/month and then €70/month for the third year.
