Jonathan & Nicola McCracken

David & Sarah

Our desire is that people will come to a personal understanding of the Christian message and decide to live for God, putting their hopes in Jesus Christ and not on themselves and their own merits.

In July 2013, Jonathan & Nicola moved with their children, David and Sarah, from Tramore ( SE Ireland) to the town of Claremorris in the West of Ireland. They are partnering with the locally based “Calvary Mission” (CM) that has been serving towns in County Mayo for a number of years. CM consists of workers from USA, Australia, N.Ireland and Republic of Ireland who are affiliated to several sending missions, but working together on various church-planting opportunities, mainly in Co. Mayo. Jonathan retains his Field Leadership / Member Care role within ECM Ireland but the focus has changed from church development in Tramore to a new start up situation in Claremorris.

Claremorris is a growing town of around 4 000 people in the heart of Mayo where there have been some Bible Studies and children’s clubs in years gone by, but no resident workers in the town to establish and develop the work. Starting in Claremorris, there is the further potential to reach out into other towns with similar need for a gospel witness.

Initially, Jonathan & Nicola hope to see a group gathered soon on a regular basis to study what the Bible has to say. It would be good if they had co-workers in Claremorris to join them in the next year to see the work develop more.
