Stuart and Cathy Dennis
‘But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.’ (2 Cor. 4:7)
Stuart & Cathy live in Weymouth, on the south coast of England. Stuart has been a Maths teacher for the last 26 years and Cathy works within the NHS, having previously been a Primary school teacher for 20 years. We have one son, Sam (23), and two daughters, Megs (21) and Emily (19). Between 2010 and 2012 we served with Africa Inland Mission in Rwanda working within education. Upon our return, Stuart embarked on a MA in Bible & Mission with Redcliffe College and this year Cathy is studying Theology (Ministry Training Course) with the South West Gospel Partnership.
Since 2019, Stuart has been involved with church leadership within their local Baptist Church and Cathy has been involved in both leading and playing in the worship team. We have a heart for discipleship and hospitality and have led and hosted life groups for the past two decades. Over the last 18 months we have sensed the Lord’s calling to serve him in Germany long term. During our first year we will be committed to language learning whilst based in Berlin. Beyond that, we are open to where the Lord calls us and to how we can serve him best.
