Valerie has spent many years serving in churches and ministries across Sydney, and God has placed a deep and lasting passion on her heart for mission - especially supporting and encouraging missionaries in Europe.
With her Italian heritage and her marriage to Peter, who has a Greek background, Europe has always felt close to home. Together they’ve raised two beautiful daughters, who now have families of their own.
Her background in counselling and human resources has always drawn her toward people, equipping her to listen, care, and walk alongside others in meaningful ways. This has naturally led her into her role as a Member Carer with ECM where she considers it a privilege to support and encourage missionaries serving on the field.
