Until Dec 2016 I was a full-time journalist working as a newspaper subeditor.
My involvement with ECM was provoked by a "Moving on in mission" day at the Sydney Missionary and Bible College; and when I subsequently offered to lick stamps, sweep or clean the toilets, the then director, Romeo Dinale, presented me with the magazine and said: "What would you do with this?" From that moment on I worked with now-retired missionary Phillippa Crossan transforming the magazine and working on some other editorial/promotional material. Some time later Romeo invited me to join the council.
I hope that clearly getting out the message of ECM is an encouragement to supporters and tantalising to those who may be considering becoming involved with ECM.
