Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo is located in the northwest of the Córdoba province, at the heart of the Alto-Guadiato Valley. The congregation unites believers from Villanueva del Duque (31 km east), Mal Cocinado (63 km west), and those who have migrated from countries in the Americas. The closest church is in Pozoblanco, and there is a mission point in Hinojosa del Duque. Therefore, the believers come together from a wide variety of evangelical church backgrounds.
The congregation has been present in Peñarroya for over 30 years. We have had a church building since 1999, which was rebuilt in 2014. The current missionary couple works to develop mature Christian national leadership and establish a firm biblical foundation for all believers in the congregation. There is a strong need for young leaders to reach out to the town’s younger generation.
