Bostjan & Lidija Cifer

Bostjan and Lidija Cifer are planting a church and mentoring university students in Maribor, Slovenia.

Boštjan and Lidija are full-time national workers committed to the development of the local church in Maribor, where Boštjan serves as a pastor. Their ministry focuses on building a healthy, Christ-centred church that helps people grow to spiritual maturity.

Boštjan is involved in developing a Slovene apprenticeship program aimed at raising a new generation of national gospel workers. He also serves on the board of the Slovenian student movement ZVEŠ.

Lidija leads the church’s music ministry and, together with other women, oversees and supports both the women’s and children’s ministries. She also organizes creative workshops as a way of reaching out to women in the community.

Their vision is best expressed in the words of Colossians 1:28: “Him we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”
