Camino Pilgrim Guesthouse and Church in Basque Country, Spain

Casa Camino Antiguo (“Ancient Way House”) is a Christian guesthouse and church in Zalla, Basque Country, northern Spain. Our guesthouse is for pilgrims walking the Camino Olvidado, one of the routes of one of the oldest pilgrimages in Europe, El Camino de Santiago.

Since opening the guesthouse in April 2024 we have welcomed hundreds of people who have stayed at the guesthouse, showing them the love of Christ through hospitality. 

Along the Camino, many people are seeking meaning and purpose, and our prayer is that they might find hope in Jesus, the true and living way.

Casa Camino Antiguo is also a church which meets in the same location and was established in 2020. As a community of Christians in Zalla, we aim to be and make disciples of Jesus in this area where there has previously been no established evangelical church. 

Our vision is to be a light for Jesus and serve pilgrims through hospitality and serve the local people through community events. We welcome volunteers and short-term teams to come and serve with us here.

Praise God the guesthouse/church property was purchased in November 2025, thanks to the generous donations of believers and churches from around the world. It has only been through the partnership of many that this project has been made possible.

As Casa Camino Antiguo continues to grow, we welcome prayer support and donations for ongoing building maintenance and much needed future improvements like heating and new windows.
